Service Description

A newborn session is the perfect way to capture all of those cherished moments of a new babies life. All their perfect fingers and toes, their adorable belly button and kissable nose. You will have all the memories to treasure for years to come. During newborn shoots, we run on newborn time. This means shoots can go anywhere from 1-3 hours to guarantee that we capture quality images. I always welcome siblings to be part of the photos, but its generally a good idea to bring a second adult to take your older children home after their pictures are finished. This way, your older children don’t have to sit around for the remainder of the shoot. Please be mindful when dressing for your newborn shoot, as the studio temperature will be kept around 80 degrees in order to keep your baby warm and happy for photos. You are more than welcome to bring your own outfits and props, but I have a studio full of outfits and props so its not necessary. When is the best time to schedule a newborn session? Typically the best time to schedule your session is during the first 5-10 days so we are able to get those sleepy curled up moments to cherish. At this age babies still retain some of their natural curl from being inside your tummy and are still very sleepy and pliable to allow for the best possible poses.
